The Committee

Steve Johnson

Steve was the stand out candidate for the role of president when Ken Leach decided to step down at the end of the 2010/11 season. Steve began his refereeing career almost by chance as, in his footballing days, the referee of a match involving Steve's team at the time didn't turn up so it was up to Steve to take charge and from there he never looked back. He passed the next referees' course and since then he has acheived a lot in his refereeing career, most notably he was given the accolade of referee of the year in the Wythenshawe Sunday League.

Rick Bartlett

Rick is a Level 3 National List Assistant Referee who has been officiating for over 20 years. As Chairman he oversees the yearly training programme and budget ensuring existing and new members receive a wide range of training and development to assist them in their future games. Rick says: "The meetings are friendly and relaxed but most importantly they are informative. Why not attend a meeting to see for yourself".
